Community Outreach

The Community Outreach committee was established to foster spiritual growth and discipleship among our Sacred Heart School students. It is a model of stewardship in action. It serves to reinforce the values of compassion and empathy.

Sacred Heart students offer their time and talents to help those in need, the elderly, the poor, the disenfranchised, the school and parish community, and the domestic church. The projects that we sponsor attempt to show the students that they can lend a hand by giving back to the community both through volunteerism, donations, and especially through random acts of kindness.

In addition to our volunteerism, Community Outreach holds a number of collections and other outreach activities which raise money for charitable organizations. Students have held food drives, toy drives, clothing drives, school supply and book drives.
