The Sacred Heart Men’s Club

The Sacred Heart Men’s Club is an active fraternal organization of Sacred Heart Parish men. Our purpose is to provide a social environment for men to interact with one another while focusing upon the purpose of serving Sacred Heart Church and School. We support one another and are ready when called to provide assistance for various parish activities.

WHAT WE DO

The Sacred Heart Men’s club consists of dedicated parishioners who donate their time and energy to the Parish with the goal of making Sacred Heart a truly welcoming environment for all whom are involved. The fund raising events put on by the Men’s Club are extremely fun, varied and always have a tremendous volunteer base to make them happen. From Concerts featuring acts like the Kingston Trio to the popular annual Cioppino dinner/dance show as well as production of communion wine via the Sacred Heart Vineyard, the Sacred Heart Men’s club is always on the move! All proceeds from our events go back into the school and parish and include items such as a state of the art security system for the rectory, Church and Parish Center parking lot refresh, Geary Hall Kitchen upgrade, the grand piano for the church and the men’s club/parish meeting facility to mention just a few.

The Sacred Heart Men’s Club produces many fund-raising events often including food. As a member you can learn how to cook and serve Cioppino, make a fantastic Pancake Breakfast, cook and prepare Carnival food and learn how to create delicious Italian and Mexican food dishes.

As you may have noticed at Sacred Heart, we have a vineyard. Operated by the Men’s Club, the vineyard produces beautiful grapes that are turned into award winning wine used on the altar, for benefits, and special events.

Come learn how to organize and promote a concert including artists like The Kingston Trio, The Lettermen, Debbie Reynolds, and many others. Sacred Heart Men’s Club has produced numerous concerts over the past 15 years, with outstanding artists and performances right here in our own church.

The Men’s Club has provided service for the School and Faith Formation programs. We sponsor 8th grade scholarships. We gather monthly for dinner meetings. We harvest Christmas trees annually with Father Gary. On occasion we will host a special BBQ or Christmas party.

The Men’s Club has constructed numerous small projects around the parish campus. All are welcome to pitch in.
