The Sacred Heart Women’s Club
The Sacred Heart Women’s Club is a woman’s organization open to all women of the parish. Meetings are usually held on the first Tuesday of the month in the early evening, dinner included! Our meetings provide us an opportunity to come together for prayer, to enjoy the company of old friends, to welcome new friends in a social setting, and to work together in service of our parish family through a variety of activities.
If interested, please contact Kathy Lambert (katherinlambert@aol.com) for more information.
The Sacred Heart Holly Days Artisan Faire in November, run by the Women’s Club, had 70+ local artisans exhibiting handmade holiday and year-round gifts, crafts, jewelry, food and more. The Faire also features a visit from Santa, an outstanding raffle, and the Artisan Café offering delicious homemade lunches and snacks. The Faire is our major annual fundraiser. 2023 proceeds from this popular community event benefitted the following:
- $1000 Community Service Recognition Award to a graduating 8th grade young lady from Sacred Heart School.
- $2000 to the tuition assistance fund for Sacred Heart Students currently enrolled in the school.
- 2 Automated External Defibrillators
- Brand new air conditioning unit in the Parish Center Kitchen.
- Parking lot refresh.
- New computers for staff.
We invite you to participate in our efforts to support the parish with your time, talents and treasure.
Women's Club Activities
- Sew and stuff stockings that Christmas time for migrant farm worker families
- Games (Bunco, Left, Right, Center, and more!)
- Book Club
- Speakers
- Walking Group
