The Sacred Heart Women’s Club

The Sacred Heart Women’s Club is a woman’s organization open to all women of the parish. Meetings are usually held on the third Tuesday of the month at 6pm. Our meetings provide us an opportunity to come together for prayer, to enjoy the company of old friends, to welcome new friends in a social setting, and to work together in service of our parish family through a variety of activities.

What We Do

We are involved with the Holly Days Artisan Faire, the Carnival food booth, social justice projects, Book Club, Lenten Soup Suppers, Women’s Walking Group and more!

Volunteer Opportunities

Your support of the Women’s Club Carnival Booth and/or the Sacred Heart Holly Days Artisan Faire would be greatly appreciated. To see the volunteer tasks and times that work best for your schedule click and select
Sacred Heart Parish Carnival or the Holly Days Artisan Faire.

Take note that there is a Women’s Club tab to work our Carnival booth. Thank you for generously giving of your time to these events. Proceeds benefit our Parish.

Sacred Heart School families receive service hour credits for time volunteered at these events.

The Sacred Heart Holly Days Artisan Faire in November, hosted by the Women’s Club, had 70+ local artisans exhibiting handmade holiday and year-round gifts, crafts, jewelry, food and more. The Faire also features a visit from Santa, an outstanding raffle, and the Artisan Café offering delicious homemade lunches and snacks. The Faire is our major annual fundraiser. 2018 proceeds from this popular community event benefitted the following:

  • A Signage project for the Parish – the centerpiece of this project is a monument size sign facing Saratoga Avenue identifying the property as Sacred Heart Parish and School.
  • $500 Community Service Recognition Award to a graduating 8th young lady from Sacred Heart School.
  • We will also contribute $1000 to the tuition assistance fund for Sacred Heart Students currently enrolled in the school.
  • We purchased kitchen work tables and stools for the parish center Kitchen.
  • Five umbrellas with stands for use in the parish center patio purchased.
  • The parish center now has a lectern for speakers to our programs and parish programs.

We invite you to participate in our efforts to support the parish with your time, talents and treasure.

Dear friends,
The Sacred Heart Women’s Club will be postponing the Artisan Faire for 2020 due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus. It’s important to us to put the health and safety of our vendors, patrons and volunteers first. We do plan to be back better than ever in 2021!

God Bless,
Laurie Inserra
